Cezar Giosan, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest. Dr. Giosan has a PhD in Psychology from New School University (New York City) and worked for a long time in the Department of Psychiatry at the prestigious Cornell University (USA). Dr. Giosan is a PhD advisor and author of dozens of peer-reviewed articles, which have been cited over 1600 times in the international literature. Dr. Giosan has also published books and book chapters in clinical psychology under prestigious publishers, such as SAGE or Springer.
Cătălin Nedelcea, Ph.D., is psychologist and Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest. He is specialized in two main directions within the field of mental health: psychotherapy and psychological assessment. At FPES he leads a master program in emotion focused therapy, teaches psychotherapy and psychological assessment and coordinates doctoral research in psychology, while also being involved in independent or financed research projects. He is the director of the Clinique for Psychological and Educational Assistance and Intervention from FPES. He is practitioner in psychotherapy, vice-president of the Romanian Association of Psychologists and president of the Institute of Experiential Emotion Focused Therapy from Romania.
Claudiu C. Papasteri, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest. Trained in experiential, emotion focused and ericksonian psychotherapy, Claudiu’s past research touched on intervention targeting, intervention development and psychotherapy process-research. His main areas of research pertain to clinical psychology, psychotherapy and psychophysiology, blending his passionate work to data science and psychometrics..
Ana Cosmoiu, Ph.D., is an assistant psychology professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest, and licensed psychotherapist, specializing in Emotion Focused Therapy. Her research interests revolve around social-cognitive processes and their contribution in the development and maintenance of psychopathology.
Ana Toma is a psychologist, doctoral student, and doctoral teaching assistant at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Science, University of Bucharest. Ana is specialized in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and clinical psychology and is now getting a second specialization in Emotion Focused Psychotherapy. As a researcher, Ana focuses on couple psychology as part of her doctoral studies. Her teaching activity includes areas such as psychotherapy and statistics in the social sciences.
Ana-Maria Chira is a licensed clinical psychologist specialised in Psycho-Oncology and a student at the Doctoral School in Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest. Her research interests include psychological trauma with a focus on vicarious trauma and attitudes towards seeking mental health services.
